Legacy Projects

The IB Physics program is a 2 year experience of taking from science new learnings, experiences and insights.  The Legacy project is an opportunity for students to give back to the Marvin Ridge program to help future students.

According to legend... One morning, Fred woke up and read the newspaper.  He did not like what he read this morning.

By mistake, when his brother died, the newspapers ran his obituary.  The Swedish gentleman was known as a munitions manufacturer:

Alfred Nobel established his prize in his will that recognizes accomplishments in: Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, Peace, and Economic Science.

In John Maxwell's 21 Irrefutable laws of Leadership, the Law 21 is this: The Law of Legacy.  In this last chapter, he talks about the "Life Sentence."  Over the next few years, our graduating seniors continue to develop their life sentence, but for this record, they focus on what their last statement at Marvin Ridge - what they will leave behind on this campus (and beyond) that will leave a positive impression on students for years to come?

Check out their projects.
